Just to close a chapter...

When I met you for the first time
I just knew that we would get along
even though the differences,  we were at one line
and my first impression was never wrong

By the time a got to know you better
I noticed we had so much in common
it felt like a real friendship that could last forever
not knowing that thát would become a problem

We could always laugh and we had so much fun
you learned me how to look at the world in another way
without you some things I just could not have done
I had really hoped that what we had  could stay

You probably don’t even know what you have done for me
but I’ll be thankful for the rest of my life
I hope you will know that and that you once will see
that how it ended hurts, like a cut from a knife

How wonderful can a friendship between two people be
and how painful, if it ends up and does not seem to be the way you thought it was
It was very hard for me to see
but you are happy now, without me and that hurts, it really does

I still whish you all the best
and wrote this to close the chapter and forget
hopefully sometime I can let it rest
but what we had I will never regret.
